Eric Di NArdo
Eric Di Nardo’s passion for the hospitality industry began with a glass of Amarone in Verona, Italy during a semester abroad. Fascinated by the complexity of authentic Italian wines, Eric took the opportunity to immerse himself in local wine, food and culture. This never ending curiosity and eagerness to learn landed him in management and beverage director roles at top restaurants around the world.
After his semester abroad, Di Nardo graduated from the University of Georgia and quickly returned to Verona, where he taught business courses in English to international corporations. He later discovered the art of pizza and bread making and began training as a pizzaiolo. Eric had the unique opportunity to study with master Pizzaiolo Riccardo Scaioli, while tasting fine wines, exploring Italy’s diverse wine regions, all while developing foundational restaurant management skills.
Eric later brought his knowledge and love of Italy to restaurant concepts around the world, from small scale pizza projects in Rio De Janeiro and Miami Beach, to fine dining establishments in Boston and Washington, DC. He has held roles at notable East Coast establishments including general manager and wine director at Tresca Restaurant in Boston, assistant general manager and beverage director at Schlow Restaurant Group in DC, and most recently, restaurant manager at the acclaimed Minibar by Jose Andres. As General Manager of Masseria, Eric continues to share his love of Italian food, wine and culture with each guest, offering an authentic experience for diners that enlivens their taste buds and excites their imaginations.
